Aspire Talent Group is proud to deliver exclusive global commercial management services on behalf of Hawthorn midfielder and AFL superstar, Tom Mitchell.
In 2018, Tom Mitchell was awarded the Brownlow Medal – the game’s highest individual honour. Since joining the Hawthorn Football Club at the end of 2016, Tom Mitchell has twice won the Peter Crimmins Medal for Club ‘Best and Fairest’ and earned selection in the 2017 and 2018 All-Australian team. His peers agreed, voting Tom Mitchell the 2018 AFL Players’ Association’s ‘Most Valuable Player’. The accolades are just-reward for a stats sheet so classy it has never been matched in AFL history. In 2018 Tom Mitchell notched up an astonishing 848 disposals for his side – the most ever recorded in a premiership season, and almost 100 clear of any other player. On 11 occasions throughout the season, he amassed 40 or more disposals, including a record 54-disposal outing against Collingwood in Round 1.
Tom Mitchell’s decision to leave the Sydney Swans for Hawthorn in 2016 signalled the start of his stunning transformation into the game’s premier player. Hawks Coach Alistair Clarkson sees his gun midfielder as a 10-year player for the Club.
Unfortunately the Hawks faithful were without their star midfielder in 2019 with Tom Mitchell suffering a serious leg-break during pre-season training in January. A full season out of action will see Tom Mitchell return fit and fully recovered for the Hawks’ 2020 AFL Premiership tilt.
