Paige Hadley

Recovered from an ACL injury to be the selection bolter for the Diamond's 2015 Netball World Cup gold medal-winning campaign.

Paige Hadley is a specialist wing attack, and one of the most prolific midcourt players in Australian netball. She is Vice-Captain of the NSW Swifts in Suncorp Super Netball.

In March, Paige was elevated into the Australian Diamonds World Cup squad after impressing selectors at a Diamonds camp in Canberra. Hadley made her debut for the Diamonds in 2013 – the same year she was named as the Australian 21/U Player of the Year.

Paige became the selection bolter for the Diamonds following a stunning 2014 ANZ Championship Finals Series and played an important part in the team successfully defending their world title in Sydney in 2015.

In 2016, Hadley was awarded the ‘Ian Thorpe Outstanding Achievement’ award at the NSW Institute of Sport annual awards ceremony. Paige also received her second NSW Swifts Coaches Award in 2016, having first achieved the honour three years earlier.

Paige was unlucky to miss selection for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games; her omission made more difficult having missed the previous edition through injury to her ACL.

Paige is a proud Western Sydney junior. She is an ambassador for the Premier Sporting Challenge which takes her into to western Sydney schools to promote active lifestyles and healthy eating.

Paige completed her Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Advanced Business Leadership) studies with the University of Western Sydney. She finished with a Dean’s Medal in 2017.
